So the other day, me and my friend Graham had a photo/video shoot.

Whoa, whoa, let me slow down here. You're probably looking at this like, "WHAT?!? HOLLY DEVANE is UPLOADING a PHOTO?!?!?!"

Frankly....yes. I am. I haven't lost a touch of my love for photography. Photography always has been and always will be my passion.

2011 has been crazy. It was hard to take the time to do what I wanted.

Things that happened:

My dad got prostate cancer.

I had depression (caused by my anemia, which I later found out I had)

I became a temporary holiday manager for Victoria's Secret. (I worked many hours)

My nephew, Ramsey, was born.

My dad has surgery and was CURED of cancer. He is doing so well.

I got very sick, and was diagnosed with critical anemia.

I had an iron infusion.

I went to the doctor weekly then biweekly, getting my blood checked constantly.

All within this, I'm working a manager position.

My blood levels are back to normal, but will be monitored over the next few years.

So all in all, it was VERY hard for me to keep up with photography. Anemia made me tired, boring, and unmotivated, and very sick. In now way am I complaining, by the way. This year made me such a strong person.

NOW, I'm in school, working part time, working on myself, chilling with friends, and looking forward to making photography a huge part of my life again. Speaking of, I'm taking a photography FILM class, (with standard 35mm SLR, I'm using my AE-1) so expect to see some of that work in the future!

ANYWAYS, so I'm glad I'm back. Not COMPLETELY. I won't be uploading every day, (or every week for that matter), but I will be taking pictures.

So this awesome guy in the picture, Graham, took a video portrait of me. It was an awesome experience and he is SO totally talented! PLEASE watch in FULLSCREEN and SHARE with your friends.

I'm going to start looking through everyone's work again in my spare time so I can become inspired and motivated. :)

Blue Bird.

Well, my mom was walking outside when all of a sudden she heard a "THUD". And there was a dead blue bird. OF COURSE it was so beautiful so I was like PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES. So here's a few :)
