Yes great!! A real 50's style apron everyone
used to wear at that time. Wish those times
were here again especially to bring back the
apron days.

I've seen this design made up by so many
others, and I've never really been blown away
by it. So I can't tell if it's the great
fabric selection and superb sewing, or the
perfect little body that's wearing it that
makes me say "Wow! I really adore this
one!"
Just another vintage apron lover.

The pattern is McCall 3979 right? I love the
1940s and this apron really says 40s. Mine
(photo of mine, and some awesome tidbits, in
my photostream in my sewing set) came out
really thin and seems to need backing
material because it's so floppy and almost
see through and I used 100% cotton fabric.
Yours looks sturdy and stiff like how I
wanted mine to turn out. What type of fabric
did you use and did you back it?

Do you share the pattern? I would love to
make one for myself. It is beautiful!
