Typical Scafell Pike conditions... This is around 3am on Scafell Pike. Visibility is at a maximum of around 10 metres during this group's challenge, in this photo it is down to around 3 metres.
THIS IS NOT UNUSUAL...! Scafell Pike at night can be very confusing for teams with little navigational experience, so ensure you are very well prepared when you arrive. You may wish to consider helping Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team who look for lost and injured walkers in this kind of weather..!
