3D- Rice University
Rice University is a prestigious university in Houston, Tx. We spent the weekend in Houston, and drove through the rather scenic campus. This hallway was rather attractive for 3D.

The brickwork is amazing! So intricate.
But I wonder. Is it a little out of focus? (It may just be me...)

All of your images seem to be reversed of the way my eyes work. I put this in a photo editor and switched the 2 images' placement and then it worked correctly for me. It's weird...I'm crossing my eyes just the same as I did with the old Magic Eye posters, and they worked fine. I also had no problem with 3D movies like Avatar, but the placement of all your images is the reverse of the way I need them to be to see depth properly.

Ok...after a little research it seems what I'm used to is "Parallel" 3D, not "Cross Eye." They're basically the same, but in reverse. The only way I can seem to do cross eye is by covering the opposing images with my hands, but once I remove them I can't maintain focus...as while parallel is easy to do with no help needed....guess we all work differently ;)

Different strokes for different folks, Zephyr.
I have a really hard time doing parallel, but crossed is dead easy for me.
Which is why I'm a fan of Jeff's 3d work!
Some particularly thoughtful folks make 3-frame pics, where one of the images is duplicated on the opposite side, to cater for both cross and parallel, but I reckon it makes the pictures too much the wrong shape.

Excellent shot!!
I could even zoom within the shot, go to the door at the back and come back to the first lamp. Really amazing.

great photo's very easy to see. I have always been able to see 3d images within a few seconds but what I like about the pictures is that i am able to go through them without losing the the 3d effect from one picture to another. Thanks
