I have this lens. I started using it for Sports this past fall. Why did you sell it? Did you not like it? I have only used it for a few weeks and am not quite use to it. I may think it is slow to focus... maybe.... the jury's not in yet.

I actually liked the results I got from the lens. I used it for a mix of family portraits, events, and back yard birds. I never felt that it was too slow to focus. It was versatile in that manner, but too small of an aperture for my liking. Last time I thought I really wanted it but sold it for a nice profit. This time around I just noticed that it's not the lens for me.
