Haven't had much time to check out your photos lately. I've been busy on a project, but I took a break this evening and started playing in PS. I used a twirl filter on a shot of some clouds, added the ship (from a tall ship festival in Richmond), added the water from another shot, and a bunch of different texture layers. It still needs something, but I can't figure out what.

There are probably five billion photographs taken of Notre Dame Cathedral from this location. Photos shot with everything from Daguerre's wooden box, to the latest Nikon D4. But this is the only one taken by me, so I'm posting it.

Not an easy place to shoot, at least not during the high tourist season. Every time I've been there it's been so packed there's no room for even a monopod, let alone a tripod. I really wanted to take the tour up to the roof because I've seen so many great shots by fellow Flickrites that have been taken from up there, but I just didn't have the patience to queue up for two hours. Maybe someday.

A pair of stoned lovers? Photographing models is much easier when they're made of stone.
