About a year ago I had the most incredible thing happen to me. A fellow photographer who I've yet to meet in person, bestowed on me one of the most generous of gifts. He was a fan of my street work on another forum, street work which I shot with my entry level Olympus. One day out of the blue I received an email asking me if I was interested in a Canon 5d with a 50mm f1.4 lens for which he would not charge me anything, I gave him an address and three days later there it was, carefully wrapped, complete with memory cards!
I will never forget this gesture and his belief in me.
It took me a long time to feel like I lived up to this incredible thing he did. I felt the Canon was way out of my league.
Today I can finally say, that's no longer the case. My Canon and I are a team. I love it. I just need to find a name for it, one that sticks.
I can't wait to see what we do next.
As for MAM---it's a story about feeling out of place (lol, maybe it's a stretch)

What a wonderful story!
