This is always in our fridge over the summer. We have plentiful mint in an abandoned garden...it's having a party there...completely out of hand. Fun to go out and pick big handfuls of it. Lately, we've been adding frozen strawberries to each glass instead of ice cubes. It chills the lovely natural mint and orange drink without diluting the flavor.

Seems I've been pulling weeds for the last couple of weeks after we returned from a 3 week holiday to Seattle to visit family and discover the fabulous Oregon coast. Today I couldn't stand it any longer and found a rose and bud in good condition and spent a wonderful and enriching hour making the pic and then processing this. Looking forward to coming around to see some of your pics over the next couple of days.

I've been away for quite awhile. When my sister-in-law, June, asked me for my Flickr link, I thought I'd better get some current pics up. I didn't have to look far with all the wild apple blossoms out on our property. They are so gorgeous. Thanks, June, for the nudge.

Kim Klassen textures.....break free and warm grunge

A garlic scape I picked last July when I lifted the garlic....put in a vase to dry and have enjoyed it this winter with its graceful curl. Am starting to play around with brushes...one sure needs to know when to stop. Could be pretty addictive.
