It was like I was in heaven. When he came out from behind the black curtains I was like, oh my god this is really happening... Then he started hugging people in the front and rah-rahing the crowd... I didn't get a hug, BUT I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

His voice is divine. Yes, that's the word to describe it. D.I.V.I.N.E. You can tell that he puts in so much effort into giving us a good musical experience.

i love him, period.

I'm so happy that I'm back in Singapore - and so many things are happening!!!!

1. I'm heading back in to Malaysia to attend a wedding of a relative's. Will be bringing my polaroid camera to capture some memories!
2. Joe Brooks is coming. Like, to Singapore coming. HOLY MOLY. When I first heard the news I was like no way. I can't be any luckier really, because I wasn't supposed to be in town till like the end of Dec. Thank god I changed flights. HEHE.
3. Kyle Patrick of TCV is COMING TOO! And yes I have made plans to go... he just seems like such a nice person! Can't wait to hear him live, and hopefully get to interact with him after? hahahaha.

I'm really hoping to take photos at all those events I said above so... YES!

Other than that I'm just bumming around... wish I got a job.

Picnic photos will gradually go up, the lighting was awesome, I'm so in love with the atmosphere here. :)

Not in the summer though.
Have been rushing out essays the last couple of weeks, one more week to go and I'll be done and I can take off to places unexplored. One week and then its back home for the next three months. I foresee my birthday, spending time with cousins and relatives, a wedding or two, and chinese new year! :)

I've been trying to find a purpose in life that I can stick to for the next 35 years or so, still haven't found it though.

The one and only Queen Elizabeth was in Melbourne today for a 4 hour long visit... she's been flying around interstate for awhile now. I would have gone to try and catch a glimpse, but I was in school (boo). Now I can't say that "I've met the queen!"

I'm heading home for summer break in a couple of weeks... hopefully I can upload more pictures because I'll be preeeeetty free... or not. It all depends on whether I can selected for an internship again. I sent my CV in but they never replied. Food and writing? Who doesn't want that? :')

Anyway, here's a lovely tomato-y coloured soup picture for y'all to feast your eyes on. It was made from ripened tomatoes I bought from the market and it was all squishy... Herbs and salt and pepper rounded up the flavours and I'm really proud it came out amazing. Add some chives for contrast and voila!

Haha, testing out editing sequences, short ones, mind you... I really can't see myself doing anything other than cross dissolving between shots... any suggestions?

But anyway, this was taken in a lovely earthy-feeling Japanese ramen shop. I love that place, and the food's amazing too, by Melbourne's standards anyway.
