"Girls with Guns"
This was shots for a proof of concept shoot entitled "How to Kill a Dead Guy"
This was a fun shoot, because I got to work along side my peers and watch a story unfold. Behind the Scene shots is "ALMOST" like shooting a wedding; the candid shots are gold!

Sara Muir
Sara and I had fun shooting these. This was shot at the Pearl District in Portland Oregon. There were these really cool Wheat Reeds sticking out of the ground covering the Apartment Buildings. I like to shoot inside of the reeds, like being on Safari. Well it's not that insane. But one could dream!

Heather Wakehouse
Heather was adjusting her make-up when I said "WTF fuck are you doin, man?!" and took this shot moments before her right jab connected to my jaw. It was an interesting day.

Niene
Doing portraits with Niene is pretty fun. It's always pleasant to have a subject that is easy to work with and won't swing at you when your guard is down.
Photo Note:
one strobe (zoom set to 50mm for a tighter flow of light) through white umbrella.
I didn't want to cut the background too much, but get the right exposure that look close to the naked eye. Let's face it; the world would be weird if everything we see was in HDR. Just a thought.
As usual this was a one take deal. Honestly this shot was taken for exposure, but Niene was sucha pro that she stayed in the game. A test shot turned out to be - "Cool! Lets move on!"

Face Off
I've always wanted to do a face grid!
Niene was awesome to work with and she is such a sport. Came up with an AMAZING range of expressions per-click! These are my favs
Shot with a blank wall, one strobe through white umbrella and a white reflector for the eyes.
I got the idea from several sources (honestly this ain't a ground breaking idea.) but it was a great friend of mine that brought it to my interests. so I said what the heck! The next day (literally), I shot these during a photo-shoot.
I totally encourage anyone to give it a try. This may be the beginnings of something really fun!!!!
Enjoy!
