You can not Pass a Bird of Paradise flower without taking a picture. But after a while, you have so many photos, you don't know what to do with them. This is my attempt at something different. Short on resolution, and heavy on the saturation. Perfect for Flickr.

The light was great, but the background was awful. I need to bring the bird into the studio next time.....or improve my photoshop skills I guess.

After the Storm

In 1955 Bill Gates and Kevin Costner were born, and Albert Einstein died.

It was also the first year that Chevy put a V8 in the Corvette Roadster to help boost lagging sales. Only 674 Corvettes were sold that year, the same year that Ford sold over 16,000 Thunderbirds.

This car is like new and goes for a price that only Bill Gates and Kevin Costner can afford. You gotta love those headlight grills !!!

1969 Buick Electra...$9000 or best offer. I saw this on the side of the road on my way to work. I made an illegal left turn and crossed three lanes of traffic to get this shot. I did my best to crop out the awful background. This is the car you would drive in 1969 if you couldn't quite afford a Cadillac.
