SockWithaCroc

These are socks I designed to remind me of my trip to Kenya this summer.
I dyed the yarn with Kool-Aid.
The stitch pattern is a "butterfly" stitch but it reminded me of sunbursts!
My first attempt at a design!

    Pattern can be found here:

Really nice socks, both the pattern AND the yarn. And how are the Croc's? Is it true that they really walk very comfortable?

I love that butterfly stitch! The bright colors in the yarn really match well with the fun pattern. Great job ;)

Those are beautiful! And a perfect match with your Crocs. I can't believe Kool-Aid can have such gorgeous affects - uh, then again it's a bit scary to think that it's drinkable, huh?

the strange thing is, i didnt' dye the yarn to be self striping, that's just how it ended up!
      it was a fun project.
the yarn i bought from etsy and it was really cheap--so it fuzzes up a lot--but still fun for a first attempt!
