Wow this is fantastic! I like how you can see his reflection on the top of the water too. And it's so clear! Must be fun fishing in such clear water!

Definitely...that is why the green river is so fun to fish...You can see how the fish react to your fly

I've only fished in clear water one time in Arkansas years ago. It makes it more of a challenge because the fish can see you too, and your lure, and your line!
I've never fly fished before.
My parents have a lake house on Toledo Bend in Louisiana. We go bass fishing alot there, and pan fish with bobbers. The waters of Louisiana are real muddy so visibility is zilch.
Most fun thing I've ever fished though is yo-yo lines for catfish. You set them out in the evening under the cypress trees, sit in your boat in the lake at night and listen for the "ZING" of the yo-yo to wind up, then go get the huge catfish with nothing but a flash light. It's fun, creepy though. You never realize how many spiders are out there until your light hits them all at night! And gator eyes!

Awsome German Brown .....these are the prize for fly fishers. I wish i could more browns like these when i go to California or Utah to fish. Great shot!

The big browns were coming up for blue wing olives for about 2 hours...caught many large ones that day... :)

I'd love to here how you took this shot. It is really great. We have trout in the river that runs through our property here in Tasmania :)

Kelli in Wonderland...
I had just caught the trout flyfishing...it was still on the line, so I could position him about 2 feet from my camera and take a few shots before releasing him...
