Momohime will celebrate the New Year visiting the temple dressed in the traditional Japanese way. The first visit of the year to the temple is called hatumôde) and many women and young girls wear kimono that day (you can take a look at their outfits here and here.

I hope 2011 will be a better year for everyone! Have a nice New Year Eve and remember not to drive when drunk ò_ò
