You can tell the legislature is in session with all the cars around the building. It makes me very nervous when lawmakers meet because they have to justify their existence by passing far too many superfluous laws. Anyway, Charlotte's jump pretty much makes up for all the spooky legislators.

Here's to new friends

I wanted Charlotte to see the valley from the foothills above Salt Lake and to our surprise we found Ash. Many of you know that Ash is part of the "1%" and of course the view I wanted Charlotte to see is Ashleys daily view. Rather than make up a bunch of crap about this photo I'll just quote the conversation:

Me: Ash I'm sure glad you had a minute to meet Charlotte.

Ash: I'm surprised the guard let you past the security gate.

Me: Well Charlotte was with me and her lovely British accent mesmerized him so we breezed right through.

Ash: (mumbling) there goes his pathetic job.

Me: Hey Ash, I was thinking we should get a group shot that I can post. Do you think if I stand between you two then people will think I'm a stud?

Ash?

Ashley ... why are you laughing like that?
