I went out and took pictures yesterday because it was absolutely beautiful out. But it was a friggen pain in the ass because my remote to the camera broke and now getting the focus right is almost impossible. I just ordered a new one today, so I can't wait for that to arrive.
I was walking around barefoot in the woods because I didn't have time to take my shoes off before the camera would fire and I wanted to be barefoot in the picture, the result is tons and tons of scratches.

I've accomplished something great today..... I learned how to make paper cranes. Okay, so it's nothing amazing. BUT you don't know how many times I've tried to make the damn things to no avail. And I wanted them for a photoshoot. So, yeah, I'm pretty excited.
I don't know what's more pathetic, the fact that I've spent my day making these paper cranes, or how happy I am to actually be able to make them.

Okay, now I am officially back. I've had some stuff going on and haven't been able to really take pictures, but I'm going to try my best to update regularly now. I've been tagged by a few people since I've been gone including Carrie Jade, Nasser, austin combs, Sydstralia, and foreverinamotion.

1. I've missed taking pictures like crazy. I'm going to start getting much more serious about my photography and try to pursue this as a career.
2. My contacts are completely amazing, talented and awesome. You guys are where I get my inspiration from.
3. I would absolutely love to transfer to Rhode Island School of Design. Would have to get in first, which isn't easy.
4. I'm sick of New England weather. Snow in April? I shouldn't be surprised because this almost always happens..... but I don't like it.
5. I want to stop taking mainly self-portraits and start working with models. Just gotta find some who are willing.
6. I wish I had friends who actually liked photography who I could go on photoshoots with!
7. I'm basically nocturnal.
8. I want to travel the world with my camera.
9. I get extremely frustrated when a picture I take doesn't come out how I want or envisioned it. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my photos.
10. In fact, I'm a bit of a perfectionist with everything.

Love how the majority of my facts have to do with photography. Jeez, I'm obsessed.

This isn't anything special. I just wanted to upload something because I haven't been on flickr in the longest time! Much too long actually. I've been busy with college and haven't gone out to take photos in a while. I'm on winter break right now, though so that's going to change! And I'm going to be uploading much more regularly. I absolutely love college and I'm in the business field but I honestly wish that I was in art school. Whenever I'm thinking about the career I want to have, (which is often because I need to decide soon) I always go back to photography. But I guess the business field will help. I'm also going to add photography as my minor and I'm taking an art class next semester so I'll get to take photos for school as well. Can't wait.

Anyway, I've missed flickr like crazy! And all my contacts, of course. I'm going to catch up on everyone's stream very soon. Can't wait to see what you guys have created. :) And hope everyone's having a good holiday!

To get this picture, I had to walk to this spot which is about twenty minutes away. And me, hating dresses, didn't want to walk that far in a dress. So, I wore jeans and folded the bottom of the dress, so that it looked like a shirt and then put on a sweatshirt. When I got here, I pulled my dress down regularly and took off the jeans and sweatshirt. If anyone was watching, they were probably very amused. :) Haha.

How do you like the new layout? I'm not so sure about it. I kind of think the pictures are a little too big.
