at 0EV exposure compensation the shutter
speed would have been 1/22 sec! Certainly too
short for handholding. The only alternative: raise the ISO to 400 or
800. But that would have had a negative
impact on image quality.
Right, exactly that would happen, if I set
exposure compensation to say +1EV. BUT: than the shutter speed would have
dropped to 1/11 sec. No way to handhold at
that speed. If you want more light to hit the sensor and
your lens is already wide open (f/1.4) you
have to accept longer shutter times.

Sorry to bug you again, but shouldn't you increase your EV instead of decreasing it to get more light into ur lens?
