Oooooooh My! How sensational !!!! When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you took a close up of a double scooped cone to eat! I can't believe this is a statue. How clever! I love this......perfect for a 100 degree day like today. Fun shot !!!

RavenNW : thanks again for your comments, and invites they are so appreciated. I hate to tell you this. When I went to check out the baby robbins, when I was heading back to the house, in the front yard I stopped to take a photo of a house finch, and there was a branch on the ground - I went to pick it up and I saw the remains of a tiny robbin.
it was very upsetting. I wish I didn't see that. Something had to take it out of the nest, since the nest in on the side of the house and this was in the front yard. :-( poor thing wasn't even ready to learn how to fly yet.

Stay cool... go out and get yourself some ice cream. order one for me. Pistashio is my favorite. if they don't have that, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup..... :-)
