Spring still has not sprung in Ottawa, but today we have been treated to a preview. The sun is shining and the weather isn't too cold at all.

Ventured out for a walk around the school and community centre near the house and came across a pile of dead sunflowers. I thought they looked quite interesting so the focus of today's photo is just that. (Much to Nard's relief as I was going to have him pose for me if I couldn't find anything else)

Oh no! After a long week at work, look at what I've come home too!

Something horrible has happened in the kitchen, and now I have to wonder, did this woman happen upon the scene of the crime or did she commit murder???

Why was the murder weapon left behind, was that the weapon?

Oh, the carnage!!!

Send in the BAU! I need answers! My kitchen won't feel safe until the responsible party is behind bars!

It was interview day today! I felt it went pretty well, so fingers crossed that when they call me next week it's with good news.

Honestly from the way the interviewers described the department, it's like it was created for me to work at. I think this may be the first interview I've gone to and came out honestly wanting the job.

Friday tomorrow! Thank goodness, it's been a long week.

None of my photos were working out for me today so another macro it is. Nothing fancy, just some cool textures and colouring.

Tonight, while cramped for time, was quite nice. Went and got a manicure with my Mom then spent some time outside talking with a neighbour and friend I hadn't seen in a while. And even though that put me a bit behind schedule, it was worth the delay.

I have a vase with fake plants in it, and for some reason this part of it caught my eye today, I liked the tones and the bends of it.

Today was pretty good, I've been making my way through my to-do list at work and tying up loose ends. I have an interview for a new position on Thursday so I'm trying to get all my outstanding items cleaned up just in case I make a good impression.

Otherwise, I'm feeling stressed out by my blackberry so I've done the unthinkable, I've turned it off. It was just getting out of control, I'm trying to get things done around the house and the thing is vibrating none stop. Well that's it BB, you're taking a nap and I'm having a quiet evening!
