Paradoxymoron

This is a movie of a super-cool "painting" hanging in the basement of the British Library, in London. The author has done many such paintings, but this is the best (and all the others are very similar). It's called "Paradoxymoron", by Patrick Hughes

    Wicked. Awesome.

    Can you imagine an entire building made like that? You would constantly have your perspective changing... so confusing! The first person to make it through should get a prize.

    Sweet. It's always cool when artists venture into other realms, especially when it turns out this good

    This is known as “Reverspective”, short for “reverse perspective”, a term that was, coined by Patrick Hughes

    Yes, it's cool, but the video does not do it justice. It is a three dimensional piece of art and video is only two dimensions. It is so much more mind boggeling to see the actual piece.

    You need to get a Steadicam.

    Unfortunately it's backwards! If he had made it recessed instead of relief, it would appear as if you were walking around the room. This way it's bizarrely reversed from expected—but maybe that was deliberate?

    @highs and lows:
    Yes, I am serious. But I suppose with a title like "Paradoxymoron" the stereoscopic inversion must have been deliberate. Which is cool too, but I always like pushing illusion towards realism myself, not towards confusion.
