Nothing to complain about the defender's pic, it's a good portrait with excellent lighting. But this shot is so artsy and bizarre, and so masterfully postprocessed, that it gets my vote hands down.

Although I really do enjoy the post processing on this photo as well, I must say that I am a huge fan of the negative space and soft tones in the defender's photo. nice work, though.

Very tough decision. I love the expression, the tones and the post processing of the challenger, but I really don't like that most of his right eye is obscured by a reflection of a lightsource.

The use of negative space in the defender is great, and it really makes me want to know what he's looking at.

This is a tough one. i love them both. one seems a little more toyed with and the other seems very pure. I think I am going to have to go for the pure one

This image is like...a children fantasy book. There is something mysterious about it. I love it. The defender's photo is excellent, but this one has won my heart.

I believe thee is #2, so

This is so unique and the PP you've done adds the perfect touch. It has a very surreal/from another time type feel about it that's quite appealing.

excellent, it reminds me of all those quirky french movies which use funky processing. Cite des Enfants perdu, A Very Long Engagement etc..
