when good color goes bad

Recently I had attempted to use GiMP as my editor and sadly after tinkering with it and finding out it only supports 8-bit color I changed my mind. However, in the process I learned a valuable lesson. AdobeRGB is the standard for color profiles on the web. This is what happened with I saved it in sRGB. The photo took on a greenish cast and the color saturation decreased as well as the brightness. Balm for the Soul is what the image was supposed to look like.
