So, I bet you all thought I had given up on my 100 Strangers project, right? Wrong! It was tough, but I got 3 people today as I had some time on the Southbank of the Thames today after my interview (I think it went ok, thank you to everybody who wishes me luck!). I also ask some alcoholic/tramp kinda guy who had a really cool nicotine stained beard, but he just said 'no, why would I want you to take my picture'. So I hastily moved on!
Anyway, this is Victoria. I saw her sitting on a bench sketching Big Ben. She also had a camera, so I guessed she might be quite arty and might be willing to let me take a photo. So I ask, she said yes, we talked a bit, I found out she had the same name as my sister and then I showed her the pictures, gave her my card and left. Easy! Victoria is 20, and half British, half Chinese, but born in Canada. She said she has travelled a lot and lived in 7 different countries! I was right about the arty nature as she is studying at the the University for the Creative Arts, in Epsom, Surrey. She is in the first year of a fashion PR and Imaging course as she wants to work in fashion photography. So, she was in London doing an assignment for her course.
If Victoria reads this, I hope you like the picture and good luck with your course :)
This picture is #006 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at www.100Strangers.com

P.S. Please vote for Katie, Sigma are running a scholarship
competition and she could win $5000, but she needs to be in the top 5
at the start of April to be considered. Its a stupid popularity
contest and seems like a really unfair voting system, where talent
doesn't even matter! So please take a look and vote. It takes one
second, you just have to put in an email address. Thanks you all so
