Swamp Cypress Trees in Botanical Garden
There are many wonderful botanical gardens in New Zealand. They are all unique and magical places to be. I couldn't decide whether the gardens or the beaches were the best way to spend a day! Added to the dilemna was the choice of driving through mountain forests that were of unimaginable beauty.

Song Thrush
This thrush was introduced to New Zealand. There is a real New Zealand thrush, quite different from this bird but unfortunately I did not get to see him.

Loved our visit!
After almost three months of touring the islands of New Zealand we feel a sadness at leaving. It will have a treasured place in our hearts!
