Its been a while since I took a photo of Lola for public consumption, so here is a paw-trait of the cat herself (see what I did there? im here all week... etc, etc..)

Yeah the title says it all......but dont fear, all is not lost, i just lost track of my 52 week project. On the bright side I havent missed a week... yet! but have ended up with a couple of sub-standard posts. I *wont let it happen again.

Due to Petras pregnancy this years visit to the Czech Republic was brought forward by a few months - as a consequence we were there for the 'Burning of the Witches' on the 30th of April - Its a celebration of the start of summer, everyone has a fire (some, like us have sausages & beer*.) In some villages they also pant a new tree and locals sit by the fire all night 'guarding' the tree, other local villages will try to steal the tree as trophy to show who is the top village in the area...

This is my first video post, could be my last. Who knows.

*Beer is like water in the Czech Rep, EVERYONE has a beer....

So this weekend I went to a my brother Jason & Charlies house, good food, good company, good weather and the 2nd best news I've heard this year!
