My friends and I were massive fans of The Ricky Gervais Show that was being podcast for free. Ricky was funny, as was Stephen, but Karl Pilkington! By the cosmic comets!
That man almost killed me with laughter.

At the time I was drawing a series of strips, detailing the adventures that often occur in bathrooms while out and about. They were called "True Bathroom Stories" and were pretty rad. I'd draw down the story as it happened, for the world to share in, then craftily disguise the identity of any real people by swapping the first letters of their first and last name.

Noone ever knew who they happened to.

On on of the episodes of the Ricky Gervais Show, Karl Pilkington told a hilarious True Bathroom Story of his own (not because he'd read my comics, just 'cause) and I transcribed it in to the sequential form.

I sent it to the boys, but never heard a whisper.
