Didn't have my D300s handy, so I took the shot with the D700... Not too shabby, but I miss the 8FPS burst that I get with the MB-D10 I keep on my D300s!
I was working at my desk when I saw bark from the tree outside my office being pecked-off by this little guy. (Took me a bit to actually find him in the tree!) I grabbed my camera really fast and ran out onto the balcony to get a few shots of him, but made the mistake of grabbing the Kenko 2x Teleconverter rather than my Nikon one. The quality isn't quite as good as it would have been with the Nikon, but at least I was able to get the shot of this little guy without cropping the shot into oblivion.
