a great blood tonic! i need some then. the picture is gorgeous. i have never tasted rhubarb so i can't even imagine what the beautiful tea tastes like. looks good though. maybe i will make some.

linda - it's a bit like hibiscus, or also red bush (rooibus) tea. A bit tart and just lightly fruity.

Plates&Packs, Yup, the old grannywomen and "yarb" healers here in the Missouri Ozark mountains have used Rhubarb to rid the body of poison and infection for many generations.
I even give it to my critters (cats) when they suffer an injury or infection....it works!
