I was in a bit of a rush with these because I wanted to eat before things got to cold, so I just snapped a couple of quick shots. The focus isn't quite right, but I kind of like them anyway because they show how beautiful the scallops and chanterelle's were seared.

Look at the size of that scallop! I can imagine the taste of this dish being so heavenly. So this is what happened to those Chanterells! Oh, drool...

yes, the scallops were huge, practically a meal in a single one... not that it stopped me from eating 4 of them :-)
