Enxadão - cecilia´s father (little girl in previous photo) had to resand this wooden table several times today. It didn´t fit the architect´s specifications who is a perfectionist.
This is a hand of a worker, of a man who crafts things with his mind and with his fingers...
Once when I was young, I wrote a poem about wanting to have wrinkled hands. Because then at least I´ll know I had done something with my life, built something, like my grandfather who built this house I live in, fences, chicken coops, and other things.
I always wanted to be an artisan but grew up in with a virtual handicraft ability.
Can I shape photos or sand them like wood?
I´ve created some bamboo furniture in the past, but this is the hands of experience.
The hand of a master craftsman!

This is nice. Clean, precise, accurate and yet you can almost sense the pulse within the flesh.

@ OldOnliner! Yes - indeed. He rested his hand briefly after intensely working. I don´t think he even noticed me taking the photo because he is so used to me visiting his workshop with my camera.
The best photos I find come after people getting used to you being around with a camera, almost like your not there.. that´s when you can capture true moments..
his hand was pulsing!

Few people even scratch the surface, much less exhaust the contemplation of their own experience.
