meanwhile in the countryside . . .

in the countryside, you needn´t worry about waking up your neighbors
at 2am when your friend comes to visit.

you don´t have to watch your back as you walk down the street or make
sure crazy Paulista "motoboys" aren´t stiching through cars ready to
    run you over...

just sit back and contemplate the landscape calmy, as my aunt does
here every day of her life . . .

The first paragraph you wrote. I thought you were referring about what happened that night in the Chacara with Poca, Fabiana, Amanda and Everton. When your aunt woke up, remember?

I liked the shot! It seems she is near of a cliff and I thought the occasion quite informal.
