Top Technician 2009 grand final

The grand final of Top Technician took place at the Jaguar Land Rover Academy on 29th April 2009 with 12 of the United Kingdom's best technicians competing to be crowned vehicle repair king. At stake was not just the coveted title of Top Technician but a prize fund of more than £10,500 for the eventual winner - who'll be announced at the GEA Aftermarket Technical Workshop on June 9th. Top Technician's diagnostic brain-teasers were set by chief judge Ian Gillgrass from the Institute of the Motor Industry who kept the 12 contestants on their toes with practical and written assessments on oscilloscopes, air con, exhaust gas analysis and more.
