~ John Lennon
So, what happens when I have absolutely no ideas for my shot today, I'm this close to calling it quits on this 366 thing, and I'm in a hurry to get home to take my daughter to an appointment?
This is what happens. I'm driving home - and not on my normal route home, either - and someone has put a big, broken hunk of mirror out in the trash at the end of the driveway leaning on some furniture. I passed it by then quickly decided I had a couple of minutes to spare and turned around. I took a few quick shots and was back on my way. Shot for the day done! Continuing for one more day.
It might sound crazy to you, but it's these little things that happen that I take as messages from the Universe that everything is going to be all right. And it puts a smile on my face that probably makes people wonder what on earth I'm smiling about. :)
I just got home, I'm going to have some dinner and try to catch up a bit with your streams!

I won't tell you to keep going because you gotta do what you gotta do. Looking at this from my phone I thought the camera was on an embankment looking up and I thought the pavement was the underside of a bridge. Crazy! I hope you keep going - I'd miss your selfies!

I can sooooooooo relate to this! IT is often at those times when you need it most that something just presents itself on a platter for you. I know that smile you have there, it feels like something is there for us, helping through the tough times. One day at a time. I really appreciate the encouragement you've given me through some of my toughest days. It will be worth it. Those shots you will love, the things you would never have done and seen had you not carried on. :-)

I'm so glad you are staying with the 366, at least for now. I har had days too when I don't have ideas or don't want to take a picture. And then I drive by/ see something that would be perfect for a picture. Love those moments. (I have other moments too when that doesn't happen, but I love it when it does.)
Great perspective and blue sky!

No message from the Universe - just someones junk that you capitalized on! Turn the mirror slightly - no overhead wires in picture. Just saying...

I get it completely. I can't even get through a weekend! :D
With that said, when you open yourself up to the world, often times the world will open itself up in return. Your smile here speaks to that. And I dig that.
I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing Earl would disagree about the whole reciprocity thing... ;)

Very cool. Amazing what you can find sometimes. Of course it helps to have a keen eye. Like yours. :)
