I remember when I studied abroad in London a few years ago...we'd had months of rain and chilly weather. Then one day in March the sun came out and the daffodils were bursting open all over the place, and my friend bought a pair of bright yellow ballet flats. And I thought I absolutely HAD to buy something in yellow after that because it made every day so cheery. I got a huge yellow tote purse with a big bow on it. And it really did make every day cheery. :) This picture reminded me of those first few days of spring when the world is waking up again.
