Kids' Room 'Before'

We've had these big stand-alone closets since we lived in Korea. Our second apartment there didn't have closets. They've been handy to have for storing things but they take up too much space. We actually have lots of closet space now. As you can see, they really need to go --- especially if we're going to get another kid in there.

Susana's IKEA Kura bed. Her toys are stored below. We've had these pink wooden boxes with cubes to store her toys since she was an infant. The toy supply has outstripped the storage capacity.

Kids Room 'After'

Sort of. This is more 'midway' than 'after.' We still need to mount the top cabinet on the wall for book storage and hang some pictures (and, um, vacuum, apparently).

We have a matching duvet and pillowcase for him, but I still need to wash it. And, yeah, see the caption above about pictures. But we're mostly there ...
