Three Tree Silhouette
I went out for a drive today especially to take some shots of trees that I have seen around the area. I ended up with about 80 shots of a selection of trees from different angles and different locations so plenty to get through and process.
These three trees are situated in a field just on the main road from Ironbridge to Shrewsbury, on the crossroads where the turning to Cressage is. I have seen them many times and always promised myself I would photograph them.......job done.

That's excellent Steve, the trees in the background balance it nicely.

Oh how luck am I, loads of shots of trees cant wait !!!
Steve Green (52 months ago | reply)
Thanks Maria. I have a spare hour or so yesterday so thought i'd better get out and take some photos. I was 'getting my eye in' in preparation for photographing 'your' tree tomorrow........I have to make sure I do it justice!
ria3 (52 months ago | reply)
Trust me you will do it justice. Most of the shots I take are lucky ones I just keep changing all the settings till I get a reasonable shot, I just pray for the day when I see a situation and think ok I need this, this and this changing and then fire off the perfect shot first time.
Its half term next week yippee I have a full week off work hope the weather stays fine I need to get out with the camera. Getting withdrawal symptoms. LOL I will be heading that way tomoz if its fine so I may see you I will be heading up towards Wolseley.

I just want to hug these trees! lol
very nice photos!
Steve Green (52 months ago | reply)
I was getting withdrawal symptoms too........then I fire off a load at once and spend the next few weeks processing them. Still it gives me something to do and keeps me off the streets!!!
@ fire~dance: Had there been a music festival in the field you would have probably seen me hugging them :D

I'm listening to Franz Schuberts Unfinihed Symphony No.8 in B minor; as I'm wandering through your photostream. Its a perfect combination; it draws me to the image, making me wish I could pass into it and experience the moment wholly. Still, doing so vicariously is no small thing. Its an enviable record of an enviable moment. A tip of the hat to you for posting such a beautiful photo!

Dear Steve, I am the author of a new book, non-fiction, now at the design stage: "A Remarkable Journey into the Heart of Europe." I should like very much to use one of the trees pictured in your "three-tree" photo as a chapter ornament. I will of course give full credit for the photo to you.
If you wish to know more about me, look me up on the Internet. I have written several books, most self-published, and several of them prize-winners. May I have your permission? Thank you. Jane Pejsa
