This was taken back in 2010 when I used to live in Central Oregon. Damn I miss living thirty minutes away from this place. I spent almost every weekend up here last summer. This was a camping trip I made with my friend Chris Winders. I drove all night taking pictures around Sparks lake. Then we drove our way to salt creek and camped out in the parking lot. Stoked for summer to return.

A shot from last summer. An incredible night up here at Sparks lake. I have been really busy and not able to keep up with my contacts streams etc...I will try my best to return some comments. Let it snow. Thanks everyone for the comments.

I posted a shot from above earlier but decided to take it down. I took this today on my way over the pass. The blue in the ice was really cool to see. As I walked back to Salt Creek Falls with my Grandpa I thought for sure I was going to get skunked, but as I looked over the handrail the waterfall was still a frozen giant.

Trying to capture a composition including both of the falls was hard. I am not happy with this shot, but it does show how crazy this place his. Hiking down into the canyon with not just one but two waterfalls was something I have never seen before. Now the trees block a lot of the view to the right, but I did my best to include both of them. I was standing about thigh deep in water freezing my ass off in the rain. I had to try everything I could to get the shot though. Have a good weekend and GO DUCKS!

My last shot from my trip two weeks ago. The four mile Kentucky Falls hike is incredible. My Grandpa and I had the whole place to ourselves. Nothing better than this place and sharing it with family.
