Happy Fence Friday {Heart on a Fence Post} Edition!

Newer Older

I have to warn everyone, I am in a beach mood this week!! The best place in the world to be, is right here on a beach, digging toes in the sand and watching the sunrise. That there was a fence off to the side was an amazing coincidence!! And a heart carved on the fence post? Serendipity!!

Thanks SO MUCH to everyone's wonderful comments and dedication posts for my 50th birthday yesterday. The slide into my next decade wasn't as traumatic as I thought it would be!!

Happy "Sunrise" Fence Friday!!

The subtle striations & soft grooves in the sand are a great nuance capture -

Seriously, this photo is amazingly beautiful!
To say the truth my girlfriend and I just spent at least 5mn discussing it...
Just wanted to ask, are these colours natural and original? Or have you done any specific post processing? She was particularly intrigued by the blue sand that you can see in the foreground shadows...

love this shot, you should think of entering into City Year's Art Competition: www.artofidealism.com, this, for example, would work perfectly for the Night into Day story:
