Came across this stool in the same shop as the fan I posted earlier. This one is not with its original finish, but I like the play of lines and curves against the dark background. This one looked the same in black and white or color! I was able to lose the background of lots of stuff in the garage store by underexposing in the camera.

UPDATE: just reposting this image which will part of the work I have hanging at the Camano Island Studio Tour May 11-13 and 19, 20. Preparing for that tour for the first time which annually brings thousands of art collectors and art enthusiasts to the island has occupied my full attention for a few weeks now. I hope that some of you in the Seattle area will stop by #18 on the tour and say hi! I would love to meet more photography enthusiasts since glass and painting dominate the tour. This is an image that I always really liked ... and I was really convinced it commented ...
The image is highly evocative and intense together, because in Italy, the iron furnishings are strongly characterized by psychiatric hospitals, and therefore produce more intense emotions.
I am very glad that you expose your works ... and really, believe me, I will be there to see them. In any case, many greetings, as we say here "in bocca al lupo"
      Ciao
