Title is actually wishful thinking. I am hoping it rains because it
has been so dry here. This was taken from a boat in Utsalady Bay just
off Camano Island after an evening of crabing (Whidbey Island is in
the background on the right). I got 5 Dungeness Crab and I just cooked
them and my mother, who is visiting, and I are eating them now. Just
started raining a little July 25, and then stopped, unmeasurable.
Took this shot with my little Nikon camera. Didn't dare take my DSLR on the boat while crabbing. This was the surprise coming back to shore and I think the camera did really well. This is exactly as I remember the light.
Also First image for monthly photoassignment: Lights. In this case the source of our natural light and the effect of our atmosphere and time of day.

The camera may have done well, but you did better - you were the one who composed it and ultimately pushed the shutter ;)
