Soaring

I don't know the actual statistics but the number of American Bald Eagles that I see on a daily basis has more than quadrupled from 4 years ago when I first came to Camano Island.

They fly really high when they soar. This is the best I can do with my current lens situation so, guess I better start saving for some new lenses!

Well done Diana! You caught this one perfectly. I see a lot more too, and Hawks as well.

I thought so too. I really love the soaring posture with the tips splayed, etc. (like your logo Charlie!)

I really like where the eagle is in the frame, and the square format/crop.

Somehow I never came around to comment on your picture. To busy to come up with a Yak-immitation. Nevertheless, I like your shot a lot, even more so as it made me sit at the side of a local canal and realy have a good look around. It changed my way of looking at my environment, much in the same way as my religious beliefs changed my perspective when I was 17 years old (I was a Mormon at age 17/18, this would have been one of my 10 to see , if I would have had enough contacts to join the "Tagged-game").
