A young boy, from the Baluch clan who live among the ruins of Rannikot fort, holds the photograph of one of the numerous forts built inside this massive fort. The fort was finally annexed when British conquered province of Sind. Talpurs, the people of arts and rulers of Sindh were thrown away after they had become quite weak.
The history of this massive built structure is murky at best. Some claim that it was first built by Greeks. Some others state that later period rulers built it. Final touches were added to it by Talpurs. The fort in the picture was definitely built by Talpurs, considering its size and the style of construction.
