We have 10 pups!

I've been watching her for the past few days as her temp kept going up and down, up and down. Started out around 2 PM I noticed her cleaning herself a lot. I check and there was a head! A rather large head at that and no sack. Try as I might I couldn't get the pup to budge, he was stuck at the shoulders. Finally after a good 10 minutes of working him out he comes crashing out along with a brother! I go to clean them off and not even 2 minutes later a sister decides she's waited long enough behind her big lug of a 1lb brother. After that things went quickly and smoothly, a pup every 20-25 minutes, a 40 minute break to switch horns of the uterus and 3 more on the other side. A total of 8 pups, 4 boys 4 girls. Mom loves her babies, she is getting a little excited over them, overly attentive. We had a great first meal and as we were concluding the meal mom starts "pushing," I quickly put the pups in their basket and when I turn back I see feet and no sack. I was a little worried but our Tie Breaker came out with no issues, breach and all.

Funny thing is as I was uploading and typing this I hear a pup crying loudly. First thing I think is Eve is trying to check them out again as she LOVES puppies, but no, Eve was on the bed behind me sleeping. I make my way to the living room and tada #10! All cleaned up, cord cut, and screaming bloody murder as his mama cleans him. Two and half hours after #9. So grand total is 10 pups, 5 Boys 5 Girls. =)

They are too cute, and VERY Strong/Healthy little brown butts. Very proud of Siren!

Eve is sporting a new collar I made her while I waited for Siren to share her pups with us. I have a few more I made, two for Eve, one for Siren and one for Maya. This one is a 1 1/2 inch Pink Demask w/black trim martingale. I really enjoyed making them even if it took me a couple hours of YouTube videos to figure out how to Thread and use my mom's sewing machine while she is out of town! =D

Ivy hasn't appeared too much on my photostream because Kendra's Chocolate BC is a Ninja! She usually spends most of her playtime stalking Eve from the distance and randomly pouncing on her. Actually come to think of it Morgan does it too, I think Kendra's BC's have difficulty distinguishing the difference between Duck and Duck Dog, poor Evie.

I was torn between two images this week. Ivy stalker Bokeh here or this shot. In the end I went with the Ninja Pounce. I just think Eve's expression is adorable here, she is waiting for Ivy's attack.
