DSC_0001 - 'The Mile'

This is what is known locally as 'The Straight Mile' acknowledged as one of the "Seven wonders" of the Leeds-Liverpool canal, not by virtue of it's straightness, but for the fact that it is constructed 20m above the town centre, hence it's proper title - 'The Burnley Embankment'
