Conservation intern in Greek gallery at Walters Art Museum

Conservation intern in Greek gallery at Walters Art Museum

The Walters Art Museum conservation intern treats a marble sarcophagus in the Greek & Roman art galleries. The sarcophagus is a Roman work from 150-180 AD and was likely for a young girl. The work is being done in the galleries due to the size of the piece and so the public can have the opportunity to see conservation work that typically happens behind the scenes.
