See more of Americana here. This was shot last night at Americana, Glendale. I was shocked that I was approached by a guard and was informed that they don't allow taking of pictures using a DSLR. Point and shoots are okay. He told me that the place is private. Unbelievable. BTW, my earlier shots (well, when Americana just opened up) of this place were not restricted. Comments

encouragement Gary, this attack on photography is one of
the products of 9-11. And some establishments
are just using it as a cover up to stop
people from taking pictures of their places.
Just imagine since when was 9-11. And as
noted in my succeeding comment, terrorists,
if that's their reason for restricting
photography, will have no need to use camera
as their tool to study the place. They will
just use Google maps or Google earth and it
will be accurate and cheap. This is full of
nonsense.

of camera (pointing to my cam) was not
allowed.

form of advertising. I was one of the first
to show pictures of Americana and I presumed
that those pictures attract many viewers to
visit the place.
