The Channel

The Channel

Just got back from a beach house vacation with wonderful family and friends. Melis arranged for a killer rental with the most awesome backyard view as you can see here. This spot had an abundance of cauldrons and rock channels just a 5 min. walk from the back door! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life and to come home with a couple keepers is icing on the cake. Hope ya'all had a wonderful fourth :)

The Big Picture

The Big Picture

Went out with Walter and Jeff last Saturday to one of my top 5 favorite waterfalls. My friend Jeff is going back to Boston so I'm glad he got to see this place before he left. Happy Waterfall Wednesday and I thank you all for looking :)

Memorial Day weekend Melis and I got a perfect dusting of fresh powdered snow . When the sun broke through this scene it was a pretty spectacular site to behold. I didn't quite capture the entire scene as I saw it because when the light hit the snow in the foreground it shined like diamonds . It's hard not to be entranced by the solitude of this place. There's no distracting malls or restaurants nearby , just you and the deepest blue lake in North America. After putting in two 11 hour days at work I'm ready for da weekend! Happy Friday and thanks for lookin ;)

Spring Anew

Spring Anew

Been a while since I got some waterfalling in and the Gorge is prime with verdant greens. Went out with my friend Dr. Galloway and Greg and us girls went a little off trail and landed in poison oak central. Luckily we both didn't get any. Greg had to remind me that somehow I always manage to make a persons first trip out with me quite memorable. Dr. Galloway is a badass trooper and it was fun gettin out. Happy Waterfall Wednesday and thanks for lookin :)
