Eclipse Communication Framework (ECF) Bundled

ECF is now bundled with the RCP release of Eclipse. It allows you to have IM, IRC and BitTorrent (?) from within Eclipse itself.

 

I see this as a small step toward better collaborative development support in Eclipse.
