Did you eat the Torte at the Hotel Sacher ?
Because if not, your bad experience is not
surprising...but, tastes differ, i know
people who prefer the Hotel
Impérial-Torte.(i'm unconditional fan of the
original Sachertorte...bonjour les calories
;-))

I am not saying it's always disappointing -
only that it was when I went. Maybe I got the
last slice that had been laying about for a
while, maybe... I don't know. Mind you, I'm
not a big fan of fruity chocolate in the
first place, so Sachertorte isn't high on my
"to-eat" list :)

I will admit to having been unpleasantly surprised by their Sachertorte. I was told marvels, and was underwhelmed.
This anecdote has of course nothing to do with the photo but hey you know me.
