This particular piece use a custom typeface.
I based it on a couple of pre-existing
typefaces from an old book called "New
Zanerian Alphabet" you can download the
pdf here: www.iampeth.com/books.php
Even more, the old ones in the Zanieran
manual were all done by hand, not typefaces
available somewhere. The lettering hands were
then shadowed with a section liner. It is an
antique tool that draws completely parallel
lines in a variety of increments. I post a
picture of one if you'd like to see it. They
are a simple work of genius. Love seeing it
here with a modern twist on a historic art
form!
